Competition v’s Saturation
Firstly, thanks to Crossfit and F45.
And while I’ve got your attention, thanks to all those PT studios offering a high price point membership to a more discerning and valued client. These guys have put a value on gym memberships again. Well done!
Many, many thanks to the cut rate $9.95 memberships offered by big American chains and other similar set-ups.
These guys have given clients somewhere to start, BEFORE they want to get service and results. Saturation in all it’s glory.
So where is your business?
We are hearing whining and moaning about too many gyms and not enough clients. Really??!!
We say there is no better time to be a gym owner, who knows who they are and what they want to deliver to their clients.
If you are struggling with the concept of too any competitors in your catchment, ask yourself these questions:
• Does your brand represent your business in the eyes of your clients?
• Does your brand care for and commit to your local community through programs, support and sponsorship?
• Do you engage your staff into your culture, and ensure they engage with your clients?
• Do you stay true to your deserved price point with memberships?
It’s time to be real with clients’ results, goals and aspirations.
If your business is, you will reap the benefits. Bring it on Competition!
